Low Impact Development for Local Governments and Designers


The objective of this one-day workshop is to increase the knowledge of local government staff and consultants on low impact development principles, discuss how LID is different from the current BMP design approach, review local case studies and lessons learned, discuss co-benefits of LID and common conflicts with existing codes, and describe maintenance and monitoring techniques to ensure LID practices keep working.

Intended Audience: This workshop is intended for local government staff, consultants, and designers in EPA Region 7.
