- National Menu of Best Management Practices (BMPs) for NPDES Stormwater Phase II
Contains numerous fact sheets that describe best management practices (BMPs) that can be used to fulfill the 6 minimum measures described in the Stormwater Phase II Rule (public education and outreach on stormwater impacts, public involvement/participation, illicit discharge detection and elimination, construction site stormwater runoff control, post-construction stormwater management in new development and redevelopment, and pollution prevention/good housekeeping for municipal operations). Regulated small MS4s can select from the menu as they submit a notice of intent (NOI) to be covered by a general permit. It can also be used by states, the construction industry, and other stakeholders. Each fact sheet contains cost and effectiveness data, applicability, siting and design considerations, benefits, limitations, and case studies and resources for further information.
