Small System Security Train-the-Trainer Strategies and Approaches: An Overview for State Drinking Water Program Staff
The Association of State Drinking Water Administrators (ASDWA) hosted a webcast for state drinking water program staff to learn about training and outreach activities for small system security needs. Webcast: Security Risk Assessment for Drinking Water Utilities
The American Water Works Association Research Foundation presented this webcast/teleconference in cooperation with the American Water Works Association and Sandia National Laboratories. The webcast addressed numerous concerns and possible solutions to help water utilities improve security. Topics discussed were key security design principles, available security technologies, a methodology for security risk assessment at water utilities, and the process of selecting security consultants.
